Based on the words of the Messenger of Allah (Peace and Allah's Mercy be upon him and his pure family): "everything has an ornament and the Ornament of Quran is the nice voice", and within the activities of the Institute of the Holy Quran belonging to the department of intellectual and cultural affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in collaboration with Dar of the Holy Quran belonging to the Holy Shrine of the Imam Al-Hussayn's (peace be upon him), a Quranic ceremony was held on Friday evening (23 Rajab 1435 AH) corresponding to (May 23, 2014) in the holy courtyard of Abu al Fadl al Abbas (peace be upon him).

The ceremony is part of the sixth annual Quranic Festival hosted by the Holy Shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), which includes the establishment of a number of Quranic ceremonies on the occasion of the fourteen holy nights of Rajab under the title: (from the birth of the light to the descent of the light).
