On Sunday 25 Rajab 1435 AH corresponding to 25 May 2014, a number of condolence processions commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) at the shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon them).

Since the early morning hours these processions started out from the street of Qibla of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) going ahead into the area surrounding the both holy shrines, and before getting to the courtyard of the Master Abu Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) they moved towards the eastern side heading for the shrine of his brother and the bearer of his banner Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to enter his holy courtyard from the door of Euphrates (Alqami) then exiting from the door of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) located in the western side of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine overlooking the courtyard between the Two Holy Shrines.

And then they reached their destination which is the courtyard of Abu Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), mourning and offering their condolences to Imam Al-Hussayn for the martyrdom of his grand son Al-Kadhem (peace be upon them), while one of these processions has been carrying a symbolic coffin which embodies the coffin of the oppressed and poisoned Imam (peace be upon him).

For their part, the two general secretariats of the holy shrines of imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) have set up all the necessary services to receive these condolence processions, the Department of rituals, processions and bodies -held in the name of imam Al-Hussayn (p)- in Iraq and in the Islamic world belonging to both Holy Shrines has also initiated its preparations by deploying a number of its employees at the main entrances of both Holy Shrines to facilitate the entry and exit of these processions, as well as to ensure the smooth flow of their movement without affecting the visitors.
