Official and Elitist Figures of Culture, Literature and Art from International and Arab Countries announce their participation in the Tenth International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring..

The preparatory Committee of the Tenth International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring announces receiving the official approvals for the presence of elitist figures of culture from various international countries, in addition to the participation of a large number of satellite channels and media institutions in the Festival which will be held during the period of (3-7 Shaaban 1435AH).

That was confirmed by Mr. Ali Kadhem Sultan, a member of supervising committee and the head of Media Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Al-hussayn (pace be upon him), who added : " We received the approvals of the participation as well as the relevant topics that will participate in the Festival, thus all specialized committees of the festival started to examine what we received up to now."

Noting: "The names of the satellite channels that will participate in the festival this year are Al-Manar TV, Al-Forat TV, Al-Hadara TV, the Pakistani Al-Hadi TV,The Iranian third channel and also the Iranian radio, the Iranian Ministry of Culture, the Friends of Qatif Institution and Aba Al-Fadl Channel in addition to many other satellite channels that we are hoping their participation this year."

Mr. Sultan said: "This year, we expect that the number of presents and participants exceed the one of the previous years, the supervising committee selected for this purpose the most important and influential personalities in their respective countries, through their intellectual distinctiveness and their scientific, literary, cultural and artistic creativity, in addition to enlightened (converted) Figures"

He pointed out: "There are international parties invited to participate in the festival, whom we received their official approvals, and which are coming from different countries, namely: from Africa (Mali, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Nigeria, Congo and Guinea) from Arab countries: (Tunisia, Mauritania, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Yemen, Algeria, Bahrain Jordan and Syria), from East Asia: (China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Singapore, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia) from Europe: (United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and Turkey), as well as a participation from the American continent.

It is worth mentioning that the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring is organized by the General Secretaries of the Holy Shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) and hosted by the holy city of Karbala during the anniversaries of birth of lights of the Saint Prophet's Household (Peace be upon them) from the third to the seventh of the holy month of Sha'ban. And due to time constraints, its Preparatory Committee is setting up meetings twice a week to discuss the regulatory issues as well as the events that would raise the level of this festival together with the performance of its preparatory and regulatory committees.
