The United Nations Development delegation to Iraq praised the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its great potential in supporting the national industry and agriculture sector.
The director of energy programs at the United Nations Development Program in Iraq; Mr. Mohammed al-Attar, said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine owns projects in various medical, educational, agricultural and Industrial fields, which deserve praise because of their specifications and high potential in addition to their great benefits to society, especially educational ones".
"We discussed ways of joint cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to provide international expertise in its projects in the field of renewable energies, environment and climate,"he added.
For his part, the financing advisor at the United Nations Development Fund; Mr. Tariq Mufleh, said, "We have been briefed on the achievements of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the field of advanced education, renewable energy and medicine, and we are proud of the existence of this wonderful institution," pointing to "his aspiration to start fruitful cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, for the benefit of Iraq."
