The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine sends two planes loaded with relief materials to Syria

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has sent 26 tons of relief supplies on two planes to Syria in support of those affected by the earthquake.

The cargo on board the aircraft amounted to 26 tons, which included food, medical items, baby milk, as well as treatments for kidney failure diseases.


The two planes set off towards Syria, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, and the directives of the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.

The relief campaigns of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine come to provide assistance to the Syrian brothers, after the earthquake that affected many scattered areas in the north of Syria.

The supplies of the holy shrine to Syria continue, as the first relief convoy was sent, which carried more than (1555) tons of relief materials, and it was reinforced by two C-130 aircraft carrying various materials to Latakia airport in Syria.
