Department of Intellectual Affairs and Central Bedfordshire College discuss joint cooperation

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the British Central Bedfordshire College discussed ways of joint cooperation.

The director of the African Studies Center of the Department; Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the Center is keen to cooperate with scientific and academic institutions and extend bridges of communication in order to study the history of the African continent in all ways, analyze it and link it to reality".

"We received the dean of the British College of Central Bedfordshire; Dr. Ali Hadawi and his accompanying delegation, and during the meeting we talked about the work of the Center on the African continent and its care for African communities in Iraq,"he added.

"We showed the delegation the most important intellectual, cultural, social and humanitarian projects and programs adopted by our Center, in addition to religious, ideological and awareness programs, in order to communicate with the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them),"he said.

For his part, the delegation appreciated the great role of the Center, congratulating their efforts in serving the communities and activating the preaching role in the continent of Africa.
