The project "following the path of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)" was present at the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring..

At the Hall of the last of the prophets (Peace and Allah's mercy be upon him and his family) in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on Tuesday morning 4th Sha'ban 1435 AH corresponding to 3rd June 2014, and within the activities of the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring, an informative seminar was set up to explain the project "following the path of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)", which is established by the Karbala Center for Studies and scientific Research at the Al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage of Iraq.

There was a significant presence of religious, cultural and academic figures from inside and outside Iraq, headed by the General Secretary of the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) sheikh Abdul Mahdi Karbalai.

The seminar started by the recitation of verses of the holy Quran, followed by a word of professor Abdel Ameer Al-Quraychi the director of the centre in question, who explained the purpose and the goal of this project after noticing the differences in the traditions that speak about the trajectory of the Imam (peace be upon him), so it was launched early last month, the establishment of a prospective study of some archaeological sites, with the participation of a group of specialists professors and academics in this field, the tour has started from Saudi-Iraqi border toward the holy city of Karbala in the areas of (Tar, Oqaysar Church, Fort Ukhaydir).

Followed by the presentation of a documentary film showing the most important goals of this project, enhanced by some historical traditions.

Succeeded by an intervention of the Director of the Geopolitical Academy in Paris Ali Rastbeen, and then the intervention of Jean Michel Vernochet French writer, journalist and geopolitician.

These interventions were concluded by the word presented by the Reverend John Paul who is a researcher, academician and professor at the Pope Paul University in Poland.
