In an annual tradition, the sayeds servants of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine are accustomed every afternoon of 4th Shaa'ban, wearing their traditional uniforms, walk towards the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to congratulate him for the birth anniversary of his brother, the clan's moon, the standard-bearer of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), carrying candles, flowers, sweets and candy bars, headed by a group of them who carry wands, which are legacies of the holy city of Karbala used whenever there is a delightful and happy occasion, from which the birth anniversary of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

On the other hand, both holy shrines of imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) witnessed during the past two days, the influx of many visitors from inside and outside Iraq who came to commemorate these events and to offer their congratulations. While both holy shines have prepared all means for receiving the high flow of visitors in addition to the ornamentation works settled inside and outside the holy courtyards.
