Sayed al-Sistani's Office expectations of the sightseeing of the crescent of the month of Ramadhan

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority; Sayed Ali al-Sistani, communicated its expectations of the date of seeing the crescent moon of the holy month of Ramadhan for the Hijri year 1444 AH – 2023.

According to the prayer times schedule of the holy month published by the office of his eminence, "it is expected that the crescent moon of the holy month of Ramadhan will be seen on the evening of Wednesday, March 22, this year".

"The crescent moon is expected to be visible to the naked eye on this date".

The office of Sayed al-Sistani expected also that, " the crescent moon of the month of Shawwal (Eid al-Fitr) will be seen clearly on the evening of Friday, April 21, and it is not expected to see it in the evening of the previous day."
