The official of the Exhibitions Unit in the Department of Intellectual Affairs of the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine, Mr. Mohammed al-A'raji, said, "the Departments of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs and Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs in the sixteenth edition of the Scientific Exhibition, which was held at the Faculty of Administration and Economics at Karbala University, participated with more than 270 publications ranging from encyclopedias, magazines, religious and heritage books," indicating that "all the publications in the pavilion are from the realization and printing of the holy shrine."
"The Library and House of Manuscripts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine of the Intellectual Affairs Department participated through the Lending Unit, the Digital Information Center and the Center for Photographing and Cataloguing Manuscripts,"he added.
"The participation of the Lending Unit was represented by the presentation of several specialized books in the field of management and economics, as a service to researchers and to provide them with the required sources, while the participation of the Digital Information Center came by providing a remote lending service and gifting digital sources, through the digital repository containing one hundred thousand titles of all scientific publications,"al-A'raji said.
"As for the participation of the Center for Manuscript Photography and Cataloguing in the exhibition, it was by displaying images of the precious manuscripts, which start from the first century AH and end with the fourteenth century AH, where they diversified in many fields, including medicine, arithmetic, logic and others."
For his part, the Apiaries Project officer at Al-Kafeel Investments Company; engineer Hassanein Mohammed, said, "the company participated by the presentation of several types of honey and pollen, in addition to Quail products, chickens and table eggs."
