The Scientific Complex concludes the National Quranic Competition with the participation of (14) Iraqi universities

The Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has concluded the second national Quranic competition, which is held for students of Iraqi universities and institutes.

The competition was organized by the Institute of the Holy Quran, the Babylon branch of the complex, and the Islamic University of Babylon.

The competition was held for two consecutive days in the Islamic University, and Mustansiriya University won the first place in the competition among 14 Iraqi universities, and Babylon University came second, and the third place went to the University of Kufa.

The closing ceremony began with a recitation by the reader of the two holy shrines; Sayed Haidar Gelokhan al-Moussawi, and then the reading of the Fatiha Surah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by a speech by the institute official; Mr. Muntadher al-Mashaikhi, in which he congratulated all participants and especially the three winners of the competition, praising the efforts of the holy shrine and the Islamic University for hosting the activities of the competition. Then the ceremony concluded by honoring the jury.
