The second relief convoy of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine arrived in the Syrian city of Latakia

The second relief convoy of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has arrived in the Syrian city of Latakia to begin providing humanitarian assistance to the earthquake victims there.

The relief materials carried by the convoy were transported immediately upon arrival to the shelter Center of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the distribution of aid in the city, where preparations are underway to begin the process of distributing humanitarian aid to families affected by the earthquake that destroyed many areas in northern and western Syria.

The first convoy of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine had provided more than 2,000 food baskets daily to the affected families in the city of Latakia, based on the directives of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the first relief support convoy to Syria on February 22, and included more than (1555) tons of medicines and food, and all the supplies needed by the affected families and securing shelter supplies, to establish camps for people who lost their homes as a result of the earthquake.
