The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine continues to provide relief assistance to the earthquake victims in Syria

The relief delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine in the Syrian city of Latakia continues to provide relief assistance to those affected by the earthquake there.

Through its continuous relief convoys, the Shrine's delegation provides relief assistance of various kinds, including food, medical and necessary supplies to the bereaved families in the Syrian city of Latakia, "Jableh region".

The relief delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p)Shrine in Syria provided 3 tons of medicines and medical supplies to the Latakia city health directorate, to be distributed to hospitals in the province, in order to support the efforts of hospitals in providing services and health care to citizens and families affected by the earthquake, which destroyed many areas in Syria.

The initiative is part of the ongoing relief efforts provided by the holy shrine to those affected by the earthquake in Syria, in response to the appeal of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, and the directives of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine launched the first relief support convoy to Syria on February 22, and included more than (1555) tons of medicines and food, all the supplies needed by the affected families and securing shelter supplies, to establish camps for people who lost their homes as a result of the earthquake.
