The two holy shrines celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (Peace be upon him)

The holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), in cooperation with the people of Holy Karbala, held the celebration of the birth anniversary of the Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

The ceremony was attended by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Aal-Dea al-Din, a number of officials of the two holy shrines and a large gathering of Karbala residents and visitors.

The Courtyard of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) embraced the activities of the festival to celebrate the auspicious birth anniversary of the beloved son of the Great Prophet Imam Hassan(peace be upon him).

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the righteous martyrs of Iraq, followed by the speech of the two holy shrines delivered by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Murtadh Aal-Dea al-Din.

The events of the ceremony included the recitation of poems, hymns and religious stanzas celebrating this anniversary by Husseini poets and radoods.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the banner of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba(peace be upon him) was raised at the Qibla gate of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
