Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announces the mobilization of all its possible capacities for the reception of the zyarat of mid Sha'ban 1435 AH, ensuring the provision of all the services needed by visitors and which contribute to the performance of the rituals of this great zyarat with ease. This was a part of the statement of its Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Bashir Mohammed Jassim.

He added: "The zyarat of Sha'ban is considered the second largest zyarat of the holy shrines in Karbala, where millions of visitors come from different cities of Iraq and beyond to commemorate the birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten holy his reappearance), so, the holy shrine will provide all the services for the pilgrims."

It is reported from Abi Hamza athamali that he heard Imam Ali Zayn ul Abedeen (peace be upon him) saying: "He who wants 124.000 prophets to shake his hand, should perform the zyarat of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the night of mid Sha'ban, because angels and souls of the prophets are asking permission from Allah the Almighty to visit him and He authorize them, Tuba (everlasting bliss) is for those who shake hands with them, among them the five Ulu Al'azm (the stout of heart) among the messengers: Noah, Ibrahim, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad (Peace and Allah's blessing be upon him, his holy family and all messengers), I asked: why they were called "Ulu Al-'azm"? He (peace be upon him) replied: because they were sent to the east, west, Jinns and humans of earth."
