The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, represented by the Center for African Studies, revived the Eid al-Fitr prayer in the republics of Benin and Tanzania.
The director of the Center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the Eid al-Fitr prayer ceremonies were held in coordination with the preachers and coordinators of the Center in the republics of Benin and Tanzania, under the leadership of Sheikhs Hussein Amidowa and Ammar Mouled, and with the participation of a group of followers and lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt(peace be upon them) in both countries".
He added that"during their conversation with the believers, the Center's preachers stressed the importance of compassion on the blessed days of Eid, overcoming differences, spreading love and peace and commitment to the holy law and the approach of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".
The preachers of the Center for African Studies conveyed the congratulations of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi, to the believers there, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
