Intellectual Affairs Department holds Eid al-Fitr prayer ceremonies in Ghana and Sierra Leone

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's(p) Holy Shrine held Eid al-Fitr prayers in the countries of Ghana and Sierra Leone, amid the presence of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The preachers of the Department's Center for African Studies had led these prayers.

The director of the Center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the Center was keen to establish the worship ceremonies for the Eid al-Fitr prayer in several African countries, including Ghana and Sierra Leone, and was supervised by the coordinators and preachers of the Center in the countries".

The followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them) attended the prayer and exchanged congratulations on this auspicious occasion, to be an opportunity for rapprochement and compassion of various segments of society, according to Al-Shammari.
