The Division of information is one of the divisions of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine that its secretariat gives it a great interest since it has the legitimacy of administration after the fall of the previous oppressing regime; and that for the importance of the media and its impact on the different groups of people, as it sets priorities and agendas of each Foundation, like the Division of Information is the gateway through which the holy shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) communicates with its surroundings.

The first media production of this division of Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is the publication of the bulletins of "Al-Khamees and Al-Kafeel" that became famous by all visitors of the holy shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and has a large fan base and that for the objectivity and accuracy of its articles.

It is noteworthy that Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has returned since the 9th of Aprile, 2003 to its leading role in the production of culture and authentic thought of prophet Mohammad (Prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy household) after a break of two centuries, and now in addition to the teaching of religious sciences, it publishes books and pamphlets, checks manuscripts and books through the Department of intellectual and cultural Affairs in the holy shrine, and produces cultural audio, visual and electronic media by other units and divisions in the section in question.
