The knowledge Department provides public and central libraries in Baghdad with its various publications

The Department of Islamic and Humanitarian Knowledge Affairs, at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, continues publishing and distributing its publications to support public and central libraries in the capital Baghdad.

The distribution process was supervised by the follow-up and coordination unit of the Department.

The head of the unit, professor Alaa Hamad Matar, said that"the department has always extended bridges of communication with all academic institutions to provide universities and specialized Libraries with its latest publications, believing in the need to support the scientific institution and increase the utilitarian range of these publications".

He added that " the recent campaign of publishing and distribution included the public and central libraries in Baghdad in the Kadhemiya Holy Shrine, Imam Al-Kadhem Heritage Center (peace be upon him), Baghdad University, Al-Nahrain University, Mustansiriya University, Imam Sadiq University (peace be upon him), Imam Al-Kadhem college (peace be upon him), Tigris University College, Iraqi university, the Central Library in Baghdad governorate and the House of book and cultural publishing."

The library administrators expressed their happiness with this initiative, stressing that it shows a high sense of responsibility, and reflects an open mindset that respects the academic institution and seeks to support it, and they extended sincere thanks and praise to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
