The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announces the date of the Second International Scientific Al-'Ameed Conference ..

The Department of intellectual and cultural Affairs at Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has declared the date for the start of the international scientific Al-'Ameed conference in its second session, hosted by the Al-'Ameed Magazine issued by the same Section, which is a quarterly magazine dealing with research and human studies, licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Iraq, and approved for the purposes of scientific upgrade. In fact, the magazine publishes a special theme each number, and is issued annually by five numbers, four quarterly and one annual.

The conference will be held for the duration of (9-11 October 2014) and under the slogan: (meeting at the Dean "Al-'Ameed" so we live up) and entitled: (The management of term's crisis from the dispute to the difference).

The magazine seeks to attract local, Arab and international academic pens, each according to his competence to provide scientific research as diverse as human disciplines in both Arabic and English.

For this purpose the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provides a variety of activities to activate the academic role in the general cultural act, among which the Al-'Ameed magazine that is trying to market university ideas with its scientific dimension for the society through the dissemination of research and academic studies at international standards.

Themes of the conference:
First: The Quranic and religious term.
Second: The lingual and literary term.
Third: The social and philosophical term.
Fourth: The historical, geographical and educational term.

Objectives of the Conference:
1 - To seek to identify controls to standardize the terminology and the approach of its connotation.
2 - To emphasize the role of the Islamic heritage in the production of the term.
3 - To create the awareness of the terms that contributes to the consolidation of a common scientific language.
4 - To benefit from the dialogue of civilizations to find terms that have a universal character.

Conditions of Participation:
1 - The Research should be committed to the scientific research methodology and to the steps that are internationally recognized, and to be written either in Arabic or English.
2 - The presented research should be printed on paper (A4) with a single copy with a CD-ROM (CD) with a limit of (15 or 30) pages, written with (Simplified Arabic) police, size (14). The research can be sent to the email of the conference as mentioned in below.
3 - Provide a summary of the research in both Arabic and English up to (500 words).
4 - Adhere to the advertised syllabus of the conference.
5 - The last date for receipt of research in full is 15th August 2014.
6 - Al-'Ameed magazine ensures the travel and accommodation expenses.
7 - A selection of the participating research will be elected to be presented in the conference sessions.
