The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is covered with black in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine was covered in black and the signs of grief were hung in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).

The assistant head of the Department of Holy Sanctuary's Care; Sayed Zain al-Abideen Adnan, said that"the staff of the Department spread black and signs of sadness in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), in the Holy Sanctuary, the Holy Courtyard and entrances to the holy shrine, and worked to prepare the necessary services for this great occasion".

"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special condolence program for this great occasion, which includes the establishment of councils of condolence, preaching and guidance, to spread some of the sciences and knowledge of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), inside and outside the holy courtyard,"he added.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine recalls the tragedy that befell the Ahl al-Bayr (peace be upon them) and their followers on the 25th of the month of Shawwal in the year (148) AH, by publishing pieces and banners on which the words of condolences were written every year, according to the assistant head of the Department.
