A medical team at Al-Kafeel Hospital ends the suffering of a man with an unhealed fracture

A medical team from Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala has ended the suffering of a man suffering from a broken leg and the bone has not healed for a year.

A specialist in orthopedics and traumatology at the hospital, Dr. Mustafa Waleed, said that"the patient was suffering from multiple fractures in the leg bone, and he had more than one surgery and fixation earlier, but it was not successful and the bone did not heal".

He added, " We conducted the necessary tests to ensure that the bone is free of any infections, we prepared the patient for the operation hall, and we went to remove the old fixation and use modern medical materials to fix the bone again, and the operation, which took about three hours, was successful," stressing that "the patient was unable to walk since his injury a year ago, but the materials we used in the operation enabled him to walk the next day.
