The minister of Health, the representative of the prime minister, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, congratulated the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine unveiling the documentary Encyclopedia of open mass graves in Iraq, during the ceremonies commemorating the national day of mass graves at the martyr's monument in the capital Baghdad, on Tuesday, and the unveiling of the documentary Encyclopedia of open mass graves for the period 1968-2003, prepared and authored by the Iraqi Center for documentation of crimes of extremism of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine.
"We congratulate the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for this great national achievement that immortalizes and documents the martyrs of mass graves, may God have mercy on our righteous martyrs and may God bless the efforts of the Iraqi Center for documenting extremist crimes,"Al-Hasnawi said.
For his part, the director of the Center, Dr. Abbas Al-Quraishi, said that "the Center is working to take advantage of national occasions to announce its publications on extremism and crimes committed against Iraqis".
He added that the national day of mass graves witnessed the unveiling of the documentary Encyclopedia of open mass graves for the period 1968-2003, in the presence of the prime minister's representative, the minister of Health, many religious and official figures and the families of martyrs, who praised the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in documenting the crimes of extremism and community service.
Al-Quraishi explained that the Center made great efforts in documenting the crimes committed against the victims of mass graves and victims of terrorism in Iraq.
