Funeral of the first two martyrs who, were defending Iraq and its sanctities in Karbala..

On the morning of Saturday the 13th of Ramadan 1435 AH corresponding to the 12th of July 2014, people of the holy city of Karbala attended the funeral of the first fallen martyrs in response to the call of the supreme religious authority for the defence of Iraq and its sanctities, and they are Ali Hindi Da'eh Al-Hasnawi and Mohamad 'Askoori Hindi Al-Hasnawi.

The formal solemn funeral ceremony was attended by a number of officials and employees of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them). The funeral procession was launched from the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy courtyard, and after performing the zyarat rituals, the Secretary-General of Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai has led the funeral prayers, then the funeral procession set off passing through the area between the Two Holy Shrines, to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine entering from the door of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) to read the zyarat of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the zyarat of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him) and the zyarat of the Imam of the Advent and the Time (May Allah hasten his holy reappearance) then mourning crowds headed finally to the cemetery of the holy city of Karbala to bury them.
