A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala successfully performed a complex operation to repair the cruciate ligament rupture and leg bone warp of a 36-year-old man.
The specialist in orthopedics, fractures and joints at the hospital, Iranian professor Abu alfadl Baqeri, said that "the team was able to perform the operation for a young man who was suffering from a severed anterior cruciate ligament and a severe warp in the leg bone as a result of an accident.
"The operation was performed with complete success and there were no complications during and after the operation in the patient,"he added.
"At Al-Kafeel hospital, we perform these operations periodically to provide all the requirements, technologies and modern medical devices, along with qualified and experienced medical and nursing staff,"Baqeri explained.
