An official at the French Institute for the Near East expresses his admiration for the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts

The director of the Department of Contemporary Studies at the French Institute of the Near East, Dr. Mathieu Rey, visited the Al-Kafeel Museum of Antiquities and Manuscripts at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The head of the Department, Mr. Sadiq Lazim al-Zaidi, discussed with Dr. Rey opening the horizons of cooperation in the axes of museums and their heritage, especially the field of studies, research and conferences, so that the Al-Kafeel museum will be the first cooperation between the Institute and the museums of the holy shrines.

The visit included a field tour of the museum's exhibition hall accompanied by the head of the museum Department, to view the rare and important treasures of the Al-Kafeel Museum.

Dr. Rey pointed out the importance of the museum in the future, saying: it is a very beautiful museum and is important for building future generations.
