At the shrine of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) the believers commemorate the first Eve of Destiny (Laylatul Qadr) and the anniversary of the wound of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) ..

Near the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) believers commemorated the rituals of the first Eve of Destiny (Laylatul Qadr), a night in which every believer hopes to be bestowed by the grace and care of the Almighty God, recalling at same time the tragedy that befell in such a night on the Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their lovers, which is the night of the wound of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

The courtyard of the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was full in this blessed night of believers who were commemorating it with prayers, invocations such as Dua Raf' Almasahef, reading the holy Quran and the different supplications special to this night, asking to gain forgiveness and emancipation from the fire.

Eve of Destiny (Laylatul Qadr) is the night, which is the most blessed and excellent of all nights. A prayer during this night is superior to the prayer of a thousand months. The destiny for the year is decided on this night. The Angels and Roohul Ameen (a highly dignified Angel) descend on this earth, with the permission of Allah, the Almighty & call on the Imam of the time (may Allah hasten his reappearance), and what is ordained (by Allah) for everybody is presented before the Imam.

On these possible nights of Qadr, it is best to act upon the recommended acts and pay attention to the worships we are advised by the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them). Of the recommended acts in this night is best to stay up till dawn and think about the issues which help us keep closer to Allah.
