Processions of servants of both holy shrines commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali Ibnu Abi Talib (peace be upon them)..

On Sunday afternoon 21st of the month of Ramadan 1435 AH corresponding to 20th of July 2014, Processions of servants of both holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) started the commemoration the martyrdom of Imam Ali Ibnu Abi Talib (peace be upon them).
From the courtyard of Abi Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) heading towards the holy Shrine of Abi Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), chanting slogans that embody the greatness of this painful tragedy.

And while the servants of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) were entering to the Courtyard of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) they were received by the servants of the father of the Free, Abu Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to hold a majestic funeral in the holy shrine.

It is worth mentioning that the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine established a Majlis of condolences that lasted for three days, starting from the nineteenth day of the holy month of Ramadan until the twenty of it, and which was attended by a number of employees, administrators of divisions and sections as well as some members of the Board of Directors of the holy shrine.

Also the lectures of the holy month of Ramadan delivered by Sheikh Abdulsahib Al-Ta'i, which are presented every night of the holy month of Ramadan in the holy shrine, were dedicated on this occasion, starting with the night of the souvenir of the Imam Ali's wound until the night of his martyrdom (peace be upon him), focusing on the blessed Biography of the life of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its direct impact on building the Muslim individual and the stable social life of the true Islamic state.
