Al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) Squad participated in the process of securing the land route for pilgrims by deploying(1000) security elements in its security detachments.
The commander of the squad, Sayed Maytham al-Zaidi, said that"for the fourth day in a row, with the support of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the squad is participating in securing more than (70) kilometers of the pilgrimage route, to enable the convoys of pilgrims through the border port of 'Ar'ar".
He added that"the squad, with the participation of (1000) security elements, secures the road daily for more than (60) buses with more than (1600) visitors from different provinces of Iraq, in addition to the convoys of northern Iraq that come for the first time on this road".
According to al-Zaidi,"the efforts of the squad, with the support of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, contributed to the provision of mobile medical detachments, as well as the deployment of bathrooms and toilets for visitors to the Holy House of Allah."
