Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is among the future top five hospitals in the Middle East..

Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine got the award for the future top five hospitals in the Middle East, in its participation in the sixth edition of Middle East Exhibition and Conference to build hospitals and special infrastructures, which took place recently in United Arab Emirates. These annual awards are honouring the pioneers of the health care sector who have devoted their efforts to building hospitals that help improving health care services in the Middle East, and raise the standards of the health care provided for patients to a global level.

As a result of this achievement, the department of engineering projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized a ceremony on this occasion to honour the executing company, and which was attended by the Secretary General of the holy shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, and the director of the company executing the project (company Al-Baldawi) the Engineer Dhafer Ammar Al-Baldawi.

The Secretary-General of the holy shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi has said in his intervention: "The Iraqi mind is a creative mind that just needs to be comprehended and embraced, and our project today is a proof of that. "

He added: " You know that we have a significant need of hospitals because of the lack of interest of the previous regimes for this aspect and the absence of health status that is in line with citizens' expectations, this is why we tried to put in this hospital modern medical infrastructures and equipments of international standards, and Allah praise to Allah, the holy shrine has taken many steps in this aspect, and we have established two hospitals, the first in Karbala, which was supposed to open this year, but it will not due to the current events in the country, and the other hospital in Babylon, both in the name of Al-Kafeel specialist hospital. This hospital has competed with a large number of hospitals, and the arbitration Committee has chosen it among the best five future hospitals."

He concluded: "We ask Allah that this project will be an opportunity that gives chance to those who have thoughts and ambition to serve this country, especially those who are in direct contact with human life, in fact, we have to support each other to confront the big challenges, and we must together strongly fight ignorance. "

The head of engineering projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine - the main body overseeing directly the implementation of the project - The Engineer Dea' Majeed As-Sa'egh explained: "The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is used in the implementation of its projects to reach higher operational results through the use of modern and international technologies in terms of design, implementation and the level of the materials used in the works, and this celebration is only the result of this vision pursued by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and we thank God for receiving the award of the future top five hospitals in the Middle East, due to the international standards adopted in this hospital through the collaboration with Archimedes Company, as the vision, the design, the work and the development were led jointly by Iraqi hands from the department of engineering projects at Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the company Al-Baldawi. This hospital includes 200 beds and 14 operating rooms. "

On the other hand, the director of the company executing the project (company Al-Baldawi) the Engineer Dhafer Ammar Al-Baldawi said: "It is with great pride and love that our company with all its cadres offers to the shrine of the symbol of loyalty, generosity, courage and the timeless brotherhood, our master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) the international Dubai Award for the project of Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital in Iraq, as one of the future top five hospitals in the Middle East, so with pride, fulfilment, love and determination to continue the efforts to complete our sincere work for the owner of this holy shrine in order to gain the satisfaction of the Almighty God."
