The success of an advanced operation to remove a tumor from the abdomen at Al-Kafeel Hospital

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala successfully removed tumors from a 49-year-old patient.

A specialist in general surgery at the hospital, Dr. Ali al-Mayali, that"a 49-year-old patient from Baghdad was suffering from the presence of a tumor in the ovary, and she had an operation to remove the tumor about (6) months ago and underwent chemotherapy, but the tumor returned again".

He added,"We conducted comprehensive examinations of the patient and decided to subject her to the (hypoc) operation, which is considered one of the advanced surgical operations performed at Al-Kafeel hospital as it has the means and the necessary medical care."

The operation, which took five hours, was successful, during which the tumors inside the abdomen were removed, in addition to removing a large lump in the colon, and the patient is in a stable state of Health.
