The forum is organized by the Riyad az-Zahra magazine (peace be upon her), affiliated with the library, and is held under the slogan "Riyad az-Zahra magazine (peace be upon her) is a sweet and rich source".
The forum witnessed the presence of the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Aal Dia'-Uddin, a number of officials and female employees in the Departments and divisions of the holy shrine, and researchers from inside and outside Iraq."
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader; Sayed Haydar Gelokhan, then the national anthem and the anthem of the "Pride's Tune" were presented, and the reading of Surat al-Fatiha in memory of the souls of the martyrs.
Dr. Abbas al-Deda, a member of the holy shrine's Board of directors, said in his speech that "the holy shrine is keen on every occasion when the gathering is held under a banner bearing the name of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her), to make it an occasion for reviving her righteous approach and reviving her personality in the conscience of the nation and in its feelings, so that we can be influenced by her and guided by her guidance..."
The forum included many religious, cultural and intellectual events, as well as the poet Sayed Adnan al-Mousawi delivered a poem to add splendor to the atmosphere of celebrating the eighth forum.
