The Service Affairs Department announces its preparations for Ziyarat of Arafah Day

The Service Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced its own preparations to commemorate the Ziyarat of Arafah day.

The assistant head of the Department; engineer Abbas Ali Abu al-'Awf, said that "the department has developed a service plan aimed at providing what visitors and servants need in the Hussayniat processions, 35 thousand cartons of water cups have been provided, in addition to preparing more than 10 thousand ice blocks given the extreme heat these days, and we have also been keen to allocate four basin trucks to fill water containers permanently".

He added,"As for the safes, we have identified two locations to receive the bags of visitors coming to the shrine of Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), in addition to the work of the kishwaniyat (shoes depositories), which continues throughout the day, and we have given priority and great attention to the issue of maintaining cleanliness."

According to Abu al-'awf, the department has attracted more than 400 volunteers who will work with its staff to provide various services to visitors.
