The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine raises the Wilaya flag on the Eid al-Ghadeer

The shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him) witnessed today, Thursday, the raising of the Wilaya flag, which was dedicated by the Imam Ali's (p) Holy Shrine by the Eid al-Ghadeer, as part of the worship practice.

The secretary general of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine; Sayed. Mustafa Mortadha Aal Dea'-Uddin, said that "the rituals of raising the Wilaya flag are a renewal of loyalty, and the crowning of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib(peace be upon him) as the successor of the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), in Ghadeer Khum after the farewell pilgrimage".

He added that " commemorating the greatest Eid of Allah comes in compliance with the commandment of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to rejoice for their joys and sorrow for their sorrows," noting that "the flag-raising ceremonies were held within the worship practice performed by the servants of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), every Monday and Thursday from the vicinity of his holy shrine."

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received the holy flag, after it was handed over to the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn, al-Kadhemiyah and Askariyayn, and then was handed over to the Standard-bearer; Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him) and raise it in his holy shrine".
