The Department of the guest house at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to distribute thousands of meals to the displaced families..

In conformity with the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority in embracing the displaced from their dwelling regions, after the influx of a big bit of displaced families to the holy city of Karbala, which the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received a great number of them, the department of the guest house at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine proceeded to distribute thousands of meals to the displaced households in accordance with an organized mechanism.

The head of this department Haj Kadhem 'Ebadah explained to the Al-Kafeel Network, the following: "A special committee was formed to receive the displaced and calculate their numbers in order to provide services and food for them. The figure of the displaced received by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has reached about 17 thousand displaced people or more, and all praise to God and with the blessings of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) we are capable to administer thousands of meals each day -InshaAllah-."

He added: "At the present time, three meals are done every day; breakfast, lunch and dinner, which are distributed to more than one place, and we developed a weekly program in order to provide different meals that include the best types of food, meat and chicken."

Equally for the places of distribution, Al-Haj Kadhem stated: "we deal out the meals to many places that are: The guest house within the holy shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the procession of the holy shrine, Oum Al-Baneen compound on the route to Najaf, one of the Hussaynyat on Al-Hindyah road, Hussaynyat Sayed Al-Kho'i in bab Al-Slalma, and hotel "Jannat Al-Baqer" in the road Sheikh Al-wa'ili, may God honour with all the good his owners, as they handed over the management of the hotel to the holy shrine, for the intent of housing the displaced with a piece of land next to the hotel with an expanse of 200 m2 that we converted to a displacement camp, as well as the opening of a sixth place where to distribute the meals, which is the Hussaynyat compound in Al-Krey'at area, and soon there will be the opening of the kitchen of the guest house of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine that is located on the road to Baghdad."

It is to mention that out of its moral duty that goes along with the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority to stand with the displaced families, the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has declared its readiness to receive the displaced people and housing them in its visitors complexes, supplying them with all necessary services and food, after they fled from their residential areas as a consequence of the threat of the Takfiri terrorist gangs who entered these areas committing the most heinous crimes and slaying of men, women and kids.
