A delegation from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visited the displaced families in the Hussaynyat and processions located on the road (Najaf-Karbala) to check their conditions and take heed to their needs in order to provide them with the necessary needs, urging them to be patient under these hard conditions that they are experiencing, and asking them to remember the patience of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the face of calamities and hardships that befell them and to travel along the path of our master Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). The displaced has shown their appreciation and gratitude for this gracious gesture and for all efforts made by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in providing all what they need.

The delegation's responsible; Sayed. Adnan Julkhan spoke to the crowds, saying: "The right is always a target, and since we represent the right sect so we see have a large number of enemies, and as we have a great identity, the identity of Shiism and belonging to the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), so the infidels try to kill us in diverse ways; from car bombs and suicide bombers to slaughter and displacement, these practices are not foreign to the tyrants, as their ancestors in the past had exercised them against Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them)."

He added: "Being forced to leave his home to ward off harm to himself and to his family is not a cowardice. As it is well known, the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) are not afraid of death, each year we witness their defiance of terrorism, when they come to Karbala by millions for the Zyarat, because they are inspired by Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
And now, even in these hard circumstances, always say "Alhamdulillah" because you found shelter at your brothers in the southern provinces, as people of Karbala have faced similar circumstances, and we were forced to leave our homes by the tyrants in the events of the uprising of Sha'ban, and we were shelter-less."

He concluded his speech with the following: "We may all ask God the Almighty with the prayers and invocations in order to release us this ordeal, with the reappearance of our Master, the Owner of advent and time, to fill the earth with fairness and justice as it was filled with injustice and oppression."

It is to mention that out of its moral duty that goes along with the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority to stand with the displaced families, the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has formed an ad hoc committee to oversee the reception of displaced people coming from the hotspots that witnessed killings and displacement, and works to create the accommodation necessities and living conditions, within the available means for this purpose. Noting that the number of the displaced people who were received, reached more than 18.000 people, mostly residents of the city of Tal-Afar who, were expelled for sectarian and confessional reasons.
