Courses in the art of public speech, hosted by the Institute of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) of the Holy Shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them)..

In an effort to implement the Hussayni pulpit with competent public speakers, and to revive and spread the Hussayni cause in all parts of the globe, inspired from the narration of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) who said:"And then, revive our matter. May Allah have mercy on him who revives our matter." The Institute of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) of oratory, which belongs to both holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them), has held courses in the oratory for men and women.
The associate Director of the Institute, Sayed. Ali Mahdi Al-Khateeb stated to the AlKafeel Network: "The goal of the establishment of such courses is to develop the Hussayni preachers from the main source, on the basis that the pulpit belongs basically to the master of the martyrs (peace be upon him), in order to disseminate the Hussayni culture across generations, especially that our saint Imams (peace be upon them) has urged their followers and lovers to revive their great cause."

He added: "The basic point upon which the Institute succeeded, is the fact that all studies are purely made for the sake of God, as we are only following the pathway of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and we do not accept within this school any other political or doctrinal view. And, when a person presents his inscription for studying at the Institute, we make sure he just came to serve the Hussayni pulpit and not for other approaches, as the Hussayni cause should override all other issues."

Noting: "The duration of the courses is about two years, in which we teach ideological and explanatory syllabuses in addition to few developing classes for the preacher in terms of proses and the art of oratory, presented by qualified and competent professors. The orator who graduates from this course, is required to stay in contact with the holy shrine and attend it twice a week, offering him a modest salary as a gift from the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)."

It is worth mentioning that the Institute of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) for the public speaking (oratory), was established in 2007, and a large number of preachers and orators who, contribute to the service of the Hussayni pulpit, have graduated from it.
