In the presence of its Senior Official; the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine celebrates the graduation of 4,500 students from the Quranic courses project

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine celebrated the graduation of more than 4,500 students from the summer Quranic courses project in Karbala governorate.

The summer courses were supervised by the Holy Quran Institute of the complex.

The celebration events were held in the Al-Ameed Educational Group, in the presence of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, a number of members of its board of directors and heads of departments, as well as academic and Hawza figures, and students' families.

The ceremony began with a beautiful recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, which was followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory on the souls of the martyrs, and then hearing the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem (the Pride's Tune).

Then came the speech of the Scientific Complex delivered by the assistant head of the complex; Dr. Abdul Hassan Attiya, in which he stressed "the importance of the book of Allah Almighty and its maintenance by following its tolerant teachings, adhering to its orders and the need for it to be a way of life for all groups and segments".

He added that "the Scientific Complex, through its multiple Quranic formations, sought to create a sound Quranic environment, targeting all youth categories, by spreading the Quranic culture based on understanding and reflection and then creating the ethics of the Holy Quran, as well as taking care of good recitation and quality of memorization".

The ceremony included a speech of the students of the project presented in both Arabic and English by student Hassan Qasem, in addition to a theatrical performance performed by one of the project's professors with four students, showing some valuable lessons in an interesting artistic style, reading the official anthem of the project entitled (We live by the Quran) with the participation of a team of 150 students, as well as chanting the oath.

The Complex held summer Quranic courses in twelve provinces, with the participation of more than (54) thousand students, during which they received lessons in jurisprudence, dogmas, ethics, biography and the Holy Quran, for forty-five days, for ages from 7 to 15 years.
