The camp's activities were supervised by the Al-Kafeel Scout Association of the Department.
The official of the activities and camps division at the association; Mr. Zaman al-Kenani, said that"the association established the first Iraqi talent scout camp with the participation of (9) governorates, and attracted talents, advanced minds and outstanding skills in coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
He added that"the closing ceremony, in which the participants reviewed their talents, energies and potentials, their skills in poetry, singing and theater, to be a model presented to the public and the media to give the real image created by the Scout camp, and the benefit achieved through it".
"The participants underwent a series of interviews and special tests before their selection, in order to search for specific talents and outstanding abilities," Al-Kenani explained, stressing that "full support is provided to them as future leaders".
For his part, the director of the scouting department at the Ministry of Youth and Sports; Mr. Amer Abdul Rahman, said that "the First Scout camp was dedicated to ages ranging from (14-18) years, with the aim of developing the individual skills of boys and releasing them to the public, as well as giving a positive image of the sectarian diversity among the community groups, through the Scout camp, which strengthened the spirit of friendship."
