In Nigeria.. The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds a Quranic session for the followers and their lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a Quranic session for the followers and the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the African country of Nigeria.

The session was organized by the Department's African Studies Center.

The director of the center; Sheikh Saad al-Shammari, said that " the Quranic session was held by the Center's coordinators in the Nigerian state of Kaduna; Sheikh Shams al-Din Abdullah and Sheikh Ibrahim Musa, in the presence of a gathering of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the state, pointing out that the session came within the Center's programs for this year in spreading the knowledge of the Holy Quran in the African continent.

He added that the session witnessed the presence of a number of readers of the Holy Quran in the city and mass recitations for believers, pointing out that our programs are implemented under the auspices of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.

For his part, Sheikh Shamsuddin Abdullah explained that "the Center in Kaduna State is working on implementing a number of religious, preaching, Quranic and humanitarian programs and projects, and there is great communication with various segments of society.
