The Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was covered with (10) thousand square meters of red carpets

The staff of the Department of Holy courtyard and the Division of the Holy Sanctuary in the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine have completed the work of laying the red carpets in the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and his Holy Courtyard.

Assistant head of the Department Sheikh Zain al-Abideen al-Quraishi said that"the staff of the department, in cooperation with the Holy Sanctuary Division, has completed the work of covering the Holy Sanctuary and the Holy Courtyard with (10) thousand square meters of red carpets, as part of preparations to receive the Ashura mourning season, visitors and Hussayni condolence processions."

He added that"these works included the Hoyl Courtyard and the doors leading to it, and then gluing thermally the carpets on the floor, to ensure that they do not slip or move to become one piece".

"The area around the hoyl courtyard will be covered with carpets in cooperation with the Departments of between the Two Holy Shrines and Service Affairs,"al-Quraishi continued.

For his part, the official of the Holy Sanctuary Division; Mr. Aqeel al-Taif, said that"preparations for the holy month of Muharram (1445 AH) began early this year, under the guidance of the general secretariat of the holy shrine, to receive the mourners on the month of sorrows, and provide the best services to those visiting the Holy ShrineW.

He added that the work of hanging black banners with expressions of sadness inside the Holy Sanctuary were conducted according to prepared and drawn plans, and with organized distribution.
