The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is discussing with the Ministry of Electricity ways to provide electric power to the city of Karbala and its visitors

The general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine discussed with the Ministry of Electricity ways to provide electric power to the city of Karbala and its visitors, during the reception of the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia'-Uddin, and the Minister of Electricity; engineer Ziad Ali Fadel.

During the meeting, the joint coordination between the holy shrine and the Ministry of Electricity was discussed in order to find appropriate solutions to provide electric energy to the hussayni processions and bodies in the Old City throughout the days of the Blessed Ziyarat.

During the meeting, the provision of electric energy to the city of Karbala was discussed, especially during periods when the city is witnessing a high demand by processions and visitors, to revive the major Ziyarats, in conjunction with rising temperatures and increasing demand for energy.
