The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has mobilized the efforts of its staffs in preparation for commemorating the Twayreej Run receiving the crowds of mourners in memory of Ashura on the tenth of Muharram.

The head of the holy shrine Care Department, Mr. Khalil Mahdi Mohammed, said that "the Departments of maintaining order, caring for the holy shrine, Service Affairs and between the Two Holy Shrines at the holy shrine, have begun to cover the floors of the doors of the holy shrine with sand to make room for visitors to perform the Twayriee Run ceremony.

He added that the holy shrine is working to provide the best services to visitors coming from inside and outside the country to commemorate Ashura at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).

He added that" the Holy Shrine has expanded the doors leading to the holy shrine for years, especially the doors of Imam al-Hassan and Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon them), " indicating that the door of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) reached 15 meters after the expansion, so it accommodates the crowds that will participate in the Twayreej Run ceremony without any problems hindering their entry into the Holy Sanctuary and their exit from the Courtyard.
