Al-Kafeel company: continuous efforts to produce half a million water boxes in preparation for Ziyarat Ashura

Al-Kafeel Healthy Water Company, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has confirmed that it is working to produce half a million water boxes in preparation for the Ziyarat of the tenth of Muharram.

The Company's Executive Director, Mr. Qahtan Jiyad Abboud, said that"the company's staff is working in cooperation with the Departments of the holy shrine to provide hundreds of thousands of water boxes, commensurate with the large numbers of visitors arriving in the city of Karbala, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions(peace be upon them) in Ashura".

He added that"work is underway to take all necessary measures to conserve and store water before the Ziyarat of the tenth of Muharram, where we provided 300 thousand water boxes, distributed on three axes towards the city of Karbala, namely (Hilla, Baghdad, Najaf), in addition to the Old City, Qibla Street, between the Two Holy Shrines and the holy shrine, for the purpose of distributing Al-Kafeel Water to visitors, especially with rising temperatures."

Abboud explained that " work is continuing for the purpose of equipping more than 500 thousand water boxes in the coming days, to cover the Ziyarat of the Arba'een and Ashura," noting that "the company's staff work to secure large quantities of drinking water, to cover the major Ziyarat witnessed in the province of Karbala, and to meet the needs of the Hussayni processions."
