Al-Kafeel Academy: 180 volunteers participate with our teams in providing treatment services to visitors

The Al-Kafeel Academy for paramedics and medical training at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine explained that 180 volunteers are participating withint the rescue teams in providing treatment services during Ziyarat Ashura.

The official of the Academy; Mr. Haider Khalil Ibrahim, said that "(180) volunteers were deployed with the rescue teams, from the trainers and paramedics of the Academy on the ground in the axes leading to the Holy Shrine, to provide treatment services and medical evacuation for emergency cases during the Ziyarat Ashura".

He added that"the axes of deployment included Bab al-Qibla, the beginning of Abbas Street (peace be upon him), the Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) and the area between the Two Holy Shrines, and the plan also includes (Rescue control) concerned with directing emergency cases, from the place of occurrence to medical detachments.

Ibrahim continued that "the Academy is implementing its plan in cooperation with the Departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, including the Department of Service Affairs, maintaining order and between the Two Holy Shrines, Public Relations, Media, the Host Restaurant, the Maqam and the Holy courtyard Care, in addition to coordination with the Al-Kafeel Inspection point, as well as the provision of three ambulances for special cases".

According to Ibrahim, the Academy pays special attention to the mourning ritual of Twayreej Run during the day of Ashura, and also adopts electronic methods in statistics and data entry, for cases that were treated during the Ziyarat days.
