The Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world announced the success of its plan to facilitate the entry of mourning processions participating in the first ten days of the month of Muharram.
The head of the Department affiliated with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them); Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that "the Husseini mourning processions began their mourning activity from the first day of the holy month of Muharram, and continued until the eve of the tenth," confirming the success of the Department's plan to conduct the movement of processions and its readiness to receive the visitors of the ritual of Twayreej Run.
He added,"the number of condolence and service processions participating in the Ziyarat Ashura reached 2000 processions from inside and outside Iraq, as the staff of the department began to provide services that would facilitate the work of the owners of the Husseini processions, and manage their movement during the days of the Ziyarat.
The head of the Department explained that" this year has witnessed a noticeable increase in the number of condolence and service processions,"pointing to the concerted efforts of all the staff of the department, with the support of the staff of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), to make the process of conducting processions participating in the revival of the Ziyarat Ashura, successful," he said.
