Sanctuary Division devises plan to prevent stampede of Twayreej Run mourning visitors

The Division of the Holy Sanctuary in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the development of a plan to prevent a stampede in the mourning ritual of Twayreej Run.

The official of the Division; Sayed Aqeel al-Latif, said that "multiple tasks fall on the shoulders of our staff in the mourning of Twayreej Run, including allocating the Holy Sanctuary for men, to receive the largest number of participants in the mourning, and distributing employees inside the Holy Sanctuary and the front entrance to prevent stampedes and treat cases of suffocation if they occur".

He added,"the side of the holy sanctuary overlooking the gate of the Qibla of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is closed, to remove carpets, holders of the Holy Qurans, Ziyarat books and Turbahs located inside the Holy Sanctuary, as well as the daily work continues, including perfuming and incense burning".

According to the official of the Holy Sanctuary Division, "after the completion of the mourning ritual of Twayreej Run, the division's staff is conducting a wide campaign to clean and arrange the Holy Sanctuary, carpet cleaning and preparing the women side for the entry of female mourning visitors."
