The mourning ritual of Twayreej Run ended on the afternoon of the tenth day of the holy month of Muharram, with the participation of millions of mourners in Karbala.

The ritual proceeded from the Qantara al-Salam area, which is four kilometers away from the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), passing through al-Jumhuriya Street to the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), passing the area between the Two Holy Shrines to enter the shrine of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), amid great security and service readiness and alert by the holy shrines ' staff.
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine dedicated four gates out of nine, for the entry of the mourners participating in the ritual of Twayreej Run, and other five gates for their exit.
