The delegation of the Department of Intellectual Affairs in Ghana participates in the central march to commemorate Ashura

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participated in the central march held to commemorate the Ashura in the state of Ghana.

The Department's delegation included the coordinators of its African Studies Center, Sheikh Noah Issa and Sheikh Suleiman Yacoub, and the march was attended by a large number of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their lovers.

The director of the center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, explained that the coordinators of the center in the state of Ghana participated in the central Ashura March that was held on the morning of the tenth day of Muharram, to offer condolences to the Master of the Order and Time; Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah Almighty hasten his holy reappearance).

He added, " This participation comes within the activities of the center in Ghana, to promote awareness of the importance of the anniversary of Ashura and emulate the humanistic and spiritual approach of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and the participation reflects the effective role of the Center in spreading Islamic knowledge and values and reviving religious rituals, especially hussayni rituals in Ghana."
