People of the region of Amerli: we were inspired patience from Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and bravery from Aba Al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

In a series of visits by the delegations of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine devoted recently to the security forces and volunteers of the popular mobilization, which are battling the criminal Takfiri gangs, sons of Yazeed (may Allah curse them all), in order to build momentum and spread the spirit of victory in the hearts of the fighters heroes.
Among those visits, there was the visit done by a delegation of the holy shrine, accompanied by a force unit of the squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to the steadfast city of Amery, which siege and blockade was recently broken, a visit that has been preceded by another visit to the same city in the moments of its resistance and defence. so, the holy shrine witnessed their situations while defending their city, and when happy for its victory, the slogan of its people was that they were inspired patience and fortitude from Imam Al-Husayn (peace be upon him) and bravery, the will and sacrifice from Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The supervisor of the fighting squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him); Mr. Maytham Al-Zaydi explained to the Al-Kafeel Network the following: "We did not lose sight of the city of Amerly, especially when the blockade on it was tighten up, we made several contacts with senior military officials and administrators on how to find effective solutions and ways to break out of a humanitarian catastrophe that has almost toppled it, but the patience and the courage of its sons who, had shown patience and bravery for its defence. As an exploratory delegation, we were able then to reach its centre to look closely the sufferings of the people of the city, we have stayed for three days, in which we made field trips to stand on its humanitarian and service needs.

Adding: "Then, we have a meeting with the officials of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine headed by its Secretary General; Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi in order to inform them about the tragic state of the city. They guided us to provide them with all that they need and to overcome the difficulties in order to alleviate the burden on the people of this steadfast area, inhabited by more than 18 thousand inhabitants, all of them are lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), within the available possibilities of the holy shrine, and it was two-pronged: the first one, is to send a special force of the fighting squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to help in the fight against the terrorists and to defend the city, and the second is to provide logistical support of foodstuffs, medicaments and others."

Explaining: "Praise to Allah and thanks to the prayers of the faithful and to the patience and courage of the people of the city of Amerly, and the concerted security efforts, the city was liberated from the siege of the terrorists gangs of "Daesh". Praise to Allah, we sent forces that have reached the city accompanied by Sayed Hashem Al-Moosawi, the coordinator of the holy shrine in the city, forces that were deployed and spread in the city to bring its people humanitarian support, the delegation then has held contacts and visits to the security leaders and administrators, and has also been in contact with the sponsors of Hussayni processions and bodies in neighbouring areas of nearby provinces in order to provide assistance to their people."

It is worth mentioning that Amerly is the centre city of the district of Tuz Khurmatu, and it is a beautiful town located on the valley of Kor Dorah that divides it, all its inhabitants are Shiite Muslims who, speak Turkmen. Amerly's population according to the statistics of 1997 is of 30173 inhabitants.
